Ajia Tenney, Esq - Mediator

Ajia Tenney is the owner of the Kansas City Mediation Group (KCMG). She received her bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and her law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She practiced law in several disciplines--both as an associate and in house for a Fortune 500 company--before forming KCMG. In her practice she has represented individuals in consumer, real estate and probate claims as well as smaller businesses in a variety of lawsuits and transactions.

Ajia is an approved Civil and Family Mediator in both Kansas and Missouri. Her certification comes courtesy of both the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program at Washington University School of Law and Missouri State University Center for Dispute Resolution. She has attended and completed numerous other courses in mediation.

She is licensed to practice law in Missouri and is an approved neutral by the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri as well as the Missouri Supreme Court. She has authored several articles concerning mediation for publication and offers seminars on mediation for schools and companies. She is presently a member of the Association of Attorney Mediators, the Association of Missouri Mediators, and the Central Exchange.
